1. Design & Documentation

• Assist in developing electrical system designs, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems.
• Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and layouts using general design software tools.
• Support the creation of project documentation such as single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and equipment specifications.

2. Project Support

• Collaborate with senior engineers to perform load calculations, short circuit studies, and equipment selection.
• Participate in site surveys, inspections, and commissioning activities as required.
• Contribute to project planning, including timelines, budgets, and resource coordination.

3. Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams, project managers, and external consultants.
• Participate in technical meetings and design reviews to support the successful execution of projects.
• Communicate effectively to gather technical input and relay engineering information across disciplines.

4. Compliance & Standards

• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Assist with internal quality control checks and peer reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to electrical engineering in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• 2-4 years of experience in electrical engineer for oil and gas facilities.
•  Familiarity with general electrical design and analysis software (e.g., CAD, modeling, and calculation tools).
• Basic understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
