Job Summary
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will support the design and development of mechanical systems within multidisciplinary energy and infrastructure projects. Working under the supervision of experienced engineers, you will assist in creating technical documents, performing basic calculations, and contributing to project deliverables in a collaborative environment.
Technical Support
- Assist in preparing engineering drawings, layouts, and equipment specifications.
- Perform basic calculations and analyses for mechanical components and systems.
- Support the review of vendor data, datasheets, and technical documentation.
- Contribute to the development of 3D models, BOMs, and other design deliverables.
- Help coordinate with other disciplines including electrical, structural, and process teams.
- Participate in internal design reviews and meetings.
- Gain exposure to project lifecycles, engineering standards, and industry best practices.
- Apply academic knowledge to practical engineering problems.
- Receive mentorship and guidance from senior engineering staff.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong academic performance with coursework in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and machine design.
- Familiarity with general CAD and mechanical design software.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative engineering team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Less than 3 years of relevant experience (Junior role).
