Job Summary
As an Intermediate/Senior Process Engineer, you will play a key role in the development, design, and optimization of complex process systems across energy and infrastructure projects. Based in our Athens office, you will contribute to the execution of multidisciplinary engineering scopes from early concept through detailed design, ensuring alignment with project requirements, regulatory standards, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Process Design & Development
- Develop process simulations, mass and energy balances, and process flow diagrams (PFDs).
- Prepare and review P&IDs, equipment sizing, and technical datasheets.
- Ensure process deliverables meet quality standards, client specifications, and safety regulations.
- Contribute to feasibility studies, conceptual designs, FEED, and EPC deliverables.
- Support interdisciplinary coordination, including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation interfaces.
- Perform design reviews, HAZOP participation, and risk assessments.
- Provide guidance and oversight to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Review and validate design documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Serve as technical liaison between engineering teams and project management.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and site visits as required.
- Translate client needs into practical engineering solutions with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline; advanced degree is an asset.
- Intermediate role: 4–9 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in energy or infrastructure sectors.
- Senior role: 10+ years of experience with demonstrated technical leadership on complex projects.
- Strong understanding of process safety, industry standards, and engineering best practices.
- Proficiency with general process engineering software - Hysys (e.g., simulation, modeling, and drafting tools).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
